Engagement was much higher in this course than in any others I’ve taken. I felt like the content was geared toward actionable items rather than fluffy, “cute” activities. I am leaving this course feeling excited to try out some new ideas rather than overwhelmed by more items on my to-do list.

I prefer the Ready Aim Teach workshops to other PDs I have attended. I feel that participant voice is really valued in these workshops, where in other PDs it is mostly the presenters voice that matters.

St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School was blessed to welcome back Amy Kines to lead our teachers in a full-day of training in Differentiated Instruction. Amy is an enthusiastic and engaging presenter who used multiple strategies to explain and demonstrate differentiation for our faculty. Her organization and planning kept the interest of the faculty and engaged them in a way that left them wanting more. Our teachers walked away from this training with a deeper awareness of the need for differentiation, confidence in their ability to meet the diverse needs of their students, and a full “toolbox” of ideas for differentiating in their classrooms.

Great workshop that provides applicable ways we can improve our classes.

I LOVE the take home list of strategies I can actually use! This makes information digestible and applicable/relevant.

The opportunity to learn in an engaging way was great! These strategies can be implemented for students at all levels, as well as with teachers.

Now I know strategies to motivate students I don’t have great relationships with.
